How does Micro-needling work?
Surgical-grade micro-needles penetrate the dermis, causing “pin-point bleeding” that triggers the body’s healing response. This process stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, which plumps the skin and improves fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, age spots, large pores and skin elasticity.

Does it hurt?
A numbing cream is used on the skin before treatment, making the procedure nearly painless for most people.

Recovery Time?
Recovery can vary but generally the skin will be pink or red in appearance for 24 to 48 hours, with possible minor bleeding and occasional mild bruising. Skin may briefly feel warm, tight and itchy. The inflammatory reaction usually subsides significantly within a couple of days, though it may last longer for older clients or those with a more sensitive skin type.

How many treatments are recommended?
A Series of 3 treatments, spaced 6 weeks apart, followed by an annual treatment.

A Skin Consultation is required before scheduling a microneedling treatment. The non-refundable fee of $30 will be applied as a credit to your treatment.
